The Rotary Club of Central Tortola is encouraging more residents to secure their tickets for the first Early Bird draw in its 2026 Grand Car Raffle, with a $1,000 cash prize to be won on Friday, October 23, 2026, at Cyril B. Romney Tortola Pier Park.

At just $10 each, tickets offer an opportunity to win while contributing to community development initiatives. The raffle’s grand prize is a brand-new 2026 BAIC BJ40 Plus, adding further excitement to a fundraising effort that brings community service and corporate partnership together.

The club has teamed up with Tortola Auto Group (TAG) and NAGICO Insurances to deliver the raffle, with proceeds supporting initiatives that address community needs and strengthen the club’s capacity to serve.

Club President Ms. Nelcia St. Jean said public participation will be central to the success of the fundraiser and the projects it will help deliver.

“Every ticket purchased helps us turn our commitment to service into meaningful action. We want people to feel proud that their support will contribute to community development and help us make a lasting difference in the lives of others. We are grateful to Tortola Auto Group and NAGICO Insurances for sharing that vision and working alongside us,” Ms. St. Jean said.

She noted that enthusiasm has been building ahead of the first Early Bird draw, with supporters eager to take their chance at the $1,000 prize.

“Tickets have been going fast as we approach our first draw, and persons are excited about the opportunity to win. We encourage everyone to get their tickets, encourage a friend or colleague to participate, and be part of this wonderful community effort. Your $10 can help us accomplish so much together,” she added.

The Early Bird draw provides an additional incentive to purchase tickets now, as the club builds momentum towards awarding the grand prize vehicle. The club is also encouraging businesses to support the initiative by purchasing tickets and helping promote the raffle among staff and customers.

Tickets are available at TAG; CarQuest Auto Parts; The Original NY Pizza; Mi Amor; House of Luxury; McW Todman & Co; Caribbean Cellars; 284 Sporting Goods; D’Brew Coffee Shop and NAGICO Insurances on Waterfront Drive and Virgin Gorda.
