Traditional village games took centre stage in Carrot Bay today, August 7, as the Cultural Fiesta continued as part of the 2026 Emancipation Festival celebrations.
Donkey races were among the highlights, along with toddlers' races, bucket, lime and spoon and sack races, mango eating competitions, a traditional relay and tug-of-war.
The activities resumed today after festivities were halted yesterday following a shooting incident in the area that reportedly left two people injured.
