The demolition period at the Major Peebles Wing has been extended as crews continue work on the Clinics’ Lobby Renovation project.
According to the Recovery and Development Agency (RDA), the existing elevator has been removed, and crews are dismantling the old elevator shaft in preparation for planned improvements.
Demolition will take place Monday to Friday, from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with no demolition on weekends.
The project will upgrade the Road Town and Outpatient Clinic lobbies, improve accessibility and create a more functional, welcoming environment for patients, staff and visitors.
The agency acknowledged the inconvenience caused by the works and thanked the public for its continued patience and understanding.
