The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force Marine Unit and Virgin Islands Search and Rescue (VISAR) will co-host the first Caribbean Women in Search and Rescue Workshop in the British Virgin Islands from October 21 to 23, 2026.

According to the RVIPF, the landmark event will bring together women serving in Caribbean and United Kingdom Overseas Territories police forces, coastguards, marine operations and search and rescue organisations.

Participants will receive hands-on training while engaging in knowledge sharing, leadership development and regional networking.

The RVIPF is encouraging eligible women to take advantage of the opportunity to participate in the historic event.
