Students of Enis Adams Primary School recently got a firsthand look at policing operations during a visit to the Road Town Police Station.
According to a Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF), 68 students participated in an educational tour hosted by the Community Policing Unit.
The students were introduced to several areas of law enforcement, including the Beat and Patrol Division, Roads Policing Unit, Scenes of Crime, Forensics, K9 Unit, Intelligence Unit and the Control Room.
One of the highlights of the visit was a drone demonstration by the Intelligence Unit, which showed students how technology is being used to support modern policing.
The RVIPF said the tour provided an opportunity for students to learn more about law enforcement while helping to strengthen positive relationships between police officers and the community.
