Royal Navy vessel HMS Trent will visit the British Virgin Islands in the coming days as part of its routine regional engagement programme during the 2026 hurricane season.
According to the Governor’s Office, personnel from the vessel will participate in several activities across Tortola and the Sister Islands aimed at supporting disaster preparedness and resilience.
These will include a disaster management table-top exercise, visits to community and critical infrastructure sites, youth engagement activities and preparedness demonstrations.
HMS Trent is expected to depart the Territory on Tuesday, September 1.
