The focus of discussions remained on strengthening the relationship between the United Kingdom and the Virgin Islands.
Premier and Minister of Finance Dr. Natalio Wheatley is in the United Kingdom (UK) attending high level meetings with Minister of State for Europe, North America and Overseas Territories Hon. Stephen Doughty and other United Kingdom officials.
According to his office, the focus of discussions remained on strengthening the relationship between the United Kingdom and the Virgin Islands, advancing constitutional reviews, and pursuing enhanced economic cooperation for the Territory.
Premier Wheatley is expected back in the Territory tomorrow, May 22. Deputy Premier Julian Fraser is the acting Premier.
