(PLTM) - Jamaican reggae family, Morgan Heritage, no strangers to the Virgin Islands, delivered yet another breathtaking performance of their popular hits at the Irene Penn-O'Neal Festiville in Road Town last evening.
With a large crowd acting as back-up singers to the Heritage family, the group succinctly showed why they are a three-time Grammy-winning Reggae group as they smoothly weaved from one hit to another hit during the performance.
The group is heralded as the Royal Family of Reggae, the band has released 12 studio albums, including Strictly Roots, which won at the 58th annual Grammy Awards for best reggae album. With a career spanning two decades and over, Morgan Heritage has worked with numerous multi-Grammy award-winning artistes and producers across multiple genres of music.
As part of the fun-filled evening, another Jamaican made her make in the BVI. Jada Kingdom showed her versatility in the music that flowed from the stage to her adoring fans in the crowd, many of whom forced their way past a barrier and to the front of the stage for a closer view. Her songs, many of which appealed to female fans.
The former swimsuit model-turned singer showed off her sweet, softer side as well, while there was plenty to provocative lyrics that she is known to produce.
