(PLTM) - The Cabinet of the Virgin Islands has approved Sheldon Scatliffe for the post of Chairman of the BVI Electricity Corporation's Board.
His appointment will be for three years and in accordance with section 4 (1)(a) of the British Virgin Islands Electricity Corporation Ordinance (Cap. 277).
The appointment will take effect from the date that the approval has been obtained by a Resolution passed by the House of Assembly.
Cabinet noted that the Chairman of the Board would be paid $1,000 per month by attendance for his services on the BVI Electricity Corporation's Board
Scatliffe has been employed by the BVI Financial Commission since 2006 and is currently the Director, Finance.
He has over 18 years of accounting, auditing and financial services experience both locally and abroad.
Scatliffe holds a Professional Certificate in Leadership and Management; Master of Business Administration (Finance concentration); Certified Public Accountant; and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting (Hons).
