(PLTM) - The Office of the Supervisor of Elections has reported that a total of one thousand four hundred thirty-six (1436) ballots were cast on Advance Polling Day, April 20.

Eligible voters cast their ballots at ten (10) polling stations throughout the Territory. Polling stations operated from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Tortola and Virgin Gorda, and from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Anegada.

All ballots will be secured to be included in the final count on Polling Day, April 24.

Persons have cue the lines at the various polling stations across the Territory for early voting.

Voting commenced at 9AM, where people 65 years and over, differently-abled persons and their caregivers can participate in the advance polls.

General elections takes place on Monday April 24.
