(PLTM) - Declaring the Virgin Islands Party (VIP) as the common enemy, the Progressive Virgin Islands Movement (PVIM) and the Progressives United (PU) have formed an alliance, a stronger possibility that the Territory may be headed to a collation Government.

The partnership was unveiled during the launch of PU’s Julian Fraser’s reelection bid in the Third District at Sea Cows Bay last evening, April 1.

“My observation, looking at the situation in the Territory, I am confident that we are going to have our next House of Assembly coalition Government,” Hon. Fraser stated.

He added, “I have called the leaders of the Progressive Virgin Islands Movement and the other parties to let them know in no uncertain terms there is one enemy out there that is the Virgin Islands Party and we got to cut the head off that snake and I am prepared through my people.

Appearing and speaking at Fraser’s campaign launch, Chairman of PVIM, Ronnie Skelton said he was accepting the humble endorsement of Hon. Fraser.

“I am also here to throw our full support behind ‘The Liberator, Julian Fraser on his quest to the fifth House of Assembly,” Skelton stated.

He added, “He has been your voice. He has been the people’s voice. On election day allow your collective voices to be heard by voting Julian Fraser as your district candidate and please vote for the PVIM At-Large team.”
