Dr. Kedrick Pickering Returns To NDP

(PLTM) - Former Deputy Premier, Kedrick Pickering, has returned to the National Democratic Party (NDP), the party he helped to form and will contest an At-Large seat under the ‘red party’ at the upcoming General Elections.

At a press conference held today, March 3, Dr. Pickering appeared alongside NDP Chairman and Eighth District Representative Hon. Marlon Penn and former Minister of Education and former NDP Chairman, Myron Walwyn who officially announced that he will be contesting the Sixth District seat against incumbent Hon. Alvera Maduro-Caines, a former member of the NDP.

After Walwyn was voted in as the party’s Chairman, Dr. Pickering along with three other elected members broke away from the NDP.

Subsequently, Dr. Pickering sought to retain the Seventh District seat at the 2019 elections and lost to current Premier Natalio Wheatley.

No political party comes without internal issues and disagreements. Do not try to bring up the relationship with Myron and Doc as though they hated each other. They did not, their were just some differences amongst them and they have come to an amicable term for the betterment of the country. Do not try to change the issue at hand. We need to get control and order of our Territory.

Some of you just naturally like confusion. that is why some of you always wait til politics time to divide families.

Myron shows courage, maturity or some may say stupidity to stay with NDP after the disrespect he got. I hope Myron wins and Join with VIP who is going win 6 seats and form the Govt.
