BVI/USVI Relationship Takes Centre Stage

(PLTM) - Residents of the BVI and USVI joined in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the BVI/USVI Friendship Day celebrations on Saturday October 22, 2022.

The event was held at the Cyril B. Romney Tortola Pier Park under the theme “Our Golden Jubilee: A Resilient Bond of Friendship.”

Cultural showcase highlighting various aspects of 'our' Virgin Islands’ culture formed part of the event. The programme included a mini parade, dance, poetry, drama, music, various cultural displays and demonstrations, and a skit featuring Ms. Janice Stoutt, local playwright, and other local actors in a skit titled, Binding Ties.

Great event. Well attended. Very entertaining. Pier Park stepped up and deliver. That marathon skit, OMG. Pls don't try that again at another event, never heard that much mumbling..It was the dull moment,
