$643K Contract Inked To Pave Fish Bay Road

(PLTM) - The Virgin Islands Recovery and Development Agency (RDA) on behalf of the Government of the Virgin Islands has signed the contract for the Fish Bay Asphaltic Concrete Works - Road Resurfacing.

The contract was awarded to Tortola Paving Limited on 26th August and is being financed by the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Loan in the amount valuing six hundred forty-three thousand, five hundred fifty-five dollars (US $643,555).

The project is expected to begin on September 9.

Works will include asphalting of 4,100 square meters of the recently rehabilitated Fish Bay which was designed and built stronger to accommodate the heavy traffic in the area.

Once complete with asphalt, the Fish Bay Road will provide a safer and smoother ride for all drivers.
