(PLTM) - The winner of the One VI Poker Run event that took place yesterday was Jareem Todman, who received $8,500, and a custom-made pendant worth $4000 with the words “Poker Run Winner 2022” engraved.

According to the organizers of the One VI Poker Run the event was successful, with more than 100 boats registered to participate. Boating enthusiasts from neighbouring islands like St. Thomas were also registered to compete. There was also a fashion show segment, and a foam party at the Cyril B. Romney Tortola Pier Park leg of the competition.

Dashan Hodge, who was the first runner up received a cash price of $4,000, while third position went to Jordan Romney who won $2000, and Shaniece Liverpool’s fourth place made her $1,000 wealthier.

Dr. Michael Turnbull, one of the organizers of the event revealed that proceeds from the event will contribute towards donations of computers and free WiFi to schools throughout the island, starting in Cane Garden Bay.

The event’s official social media page dispelled some of the rumors about incidents at yesterday’s Poker Run. Nothing but the grace of God to see here.”
