(PLTM) - The BVI Athletics Association (BVIAA) held its National Junior and Senior Championships over the weekend of June 18th, at the A.O. Shirley Grounds.

Prior to start of the event, David Thomas, Chief Operations Officer and Nekita Turnbull, Marketing Manager of Clarence Thomas Limited (CTL) made a donation of items to the BVIAA. These items included tents, cooler, chairs and table. The items were received by BVIAA’s President, Steve Augustine, and other officials.

“It’s just the beginning. It’s a start. So, on behalf of Clarence Thomas Limited, I am presenting to you (BVIAA President Steve Augustine) a small donation to use and I hope it serves you well and benefits the athletes. Moving forward let’s see what we can do and make it a fun hearty relationship,” commented Mr. Thomas.

The BVIAA President thanked CTL for this timely donation on behalf of the Track and Field family.
