Two Seriously Injured In North Sound Accident

(PLTM) - An early morning vehicular accident in North Sound, Virgin Gorda has left two persons seriously injured.

The accident was confirmed by the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF).

“Police can confirm that they attended a lone vehicle accident in Virgin Gorda,” Police Information Officer Diane Drayton said via a statement on Monday, February 22, 2021.

She added: “As a result, four persons are being treated for injuries, two are in a serious condition.”

In the meantime, amateur video footage of the accident, which was obtained by BVI Platinum News, shows an overturned vehicle and at least one man lying on the road with what appears to be blood flowing from a head injury.

Officers from the RVIPF were also spotted in the 1: 07-minute video.
