General Manager, Michael Thomas says CTL is doing it big in November .

(PLTM) - Clarence Thomas Ltd. (CTL) is ushering the Christmas season with a massive one-day shopping adventure that features huge savings store-wide, door buster deals and free transportation for Virgin Gorda residents.

The event is planned for Saturday, November 23, 2019 and is intended to create a village-type experience for shoppers that will showcase a live band, food, deals and the lighting of a Christmas tree to usher-in in the holiday season.

The 30% saving deals and door-buster prizes will be running all day, but between 4 p.m. and closing, additional deals will be released store-wide.

“I think it is important that we give back,” said CTL’s General Manager, Michael Thomas who now oversees the family business that started over 50 years ago. According to Thomas, the one thing that his parents have always done is give back to the community.

“I grow in a household where we were constantly giving all the time and so it was easy for me to actually get involved in this company form an early age and learn how to give. The good book says to whom much is given much is expected,” Thomas stated.

CTL rolled out the promotion in keeping with their new theme, ‘We’ve Got It’. According to Thomas, the one-day event dubbed, November to Remember savings is intended to bring people together to have a good time.

“We needed to have an event and not have to compete with all the other businesses. Our great marketing team decided that we are going to do a pre-Black Friday sales event. We are inviting people to come shop, save a lot of money and basically start celebrating the holidays early,” Thomas pointed out.

Perfect Collaboration

To ensure that Virgin Gorda shoppers are part of the celebrations, CTL embarked on a 'perfect collaboration' with Speedy’s.

CTL is ready bring Christmas to holiday shoppers.

“I made a simple phone call to the people of Speedy’s and right away they said yes…It was a perfect collaboration between us...Speedy’s is going to be onboard with us as part sponsorship for us to move our customers from virgin Gorda into Tortola to be a part of this event. If you are on Virgin Gorda it is just like getting up driving your car and going down to CTL in The Valley, Virgin Gorda, but except you are going on the boat," Thomas explained.

Further, Thomas indicated that Virgin Gorda customers will also enjoy free shuttle from the store to the boat.

"It is a way to let people know that we have in the store because we are more than a plumbing supply store. Virgin Gorda will get to see what their future will look like when we expand our Virgin Gorda operations," Thomas stated.

Additionally, the store layout has been revamped to showcase offerings for holiday shoppers, including a Christmas village, toys and decorations.

Thomas also noted that the store will cater for Seventh Day Adventists by extending the closing time.
