Men Busted With Drugs During Curfew

Three Jost Van Dyke (JVD) men were nabbed with drugs and a large quantity of cash, during an operation in the Sea Cows Bay area on Tuesday evening, October 3.

According to police, while conducting patrols during curfew hours, officers from RVIPF, Cayman Islands, U.K. and Bermuda, stopped and searched a vehicle where a large quantity of both drugs and cash were uncovered.

As a result, Dwayne Borris Donovan, 28, Shomarie Jahmeed Chinnery, 27, and Rubbie Pickering, 27 were charged with unlawful possession of cannabis and unlawful possession of cannabis with intent to supply.

The cash and drugs were confiscated and remains part of the investigation.
