(PLTM) - An aggressive cleanup exercise continues across the Territory, with residents joining forces to help each other and response agencies.

"Teams are working to clear roads, and shelters are in place for those who have been displaced. We encourage everyone to keep helping each other. Let us remain resilient," said the Department of Disaster Management (DDM).

The department has also advised members of the public to take all residential waste to the Incineration Plant in Pockwood Pond. Galvanise, trees and lumber should be taken to the Old Dumping Site at Coxheath.

"Please note that the trash is already sorted at the dumping site, and contractors are asked to dump any galvanise, trees and lumber in the sorted categories."

DDM reminded persons that all information regarding donations should be emailed to bviddmirma@gmail.com

Please note that medical supplies must be coordinated through PAHO, and MUST follow the health donation policy.
