The Government has invited tenders for a comprehensive one-year insurance programme for the Ralph T. O’Neal Administration Complex as restoration and modernisation works continue.

According to government, the insurance will protect government property, ongoing construction activities and third parties during the continued redevelopment and operation of the facility. Coverage must include Contractor’s All Risks, Extended Fire and Perils, and Public Liability insurance.

The complex has been closed for business since it was gutted by Hurricane Irma in 2017, forcing the Government to pay rent for office space to accommodate its operations.

It is expected to reopen fully next year, provided repairs are completed on schedule.

A virtual pre-tender meeting is scheduled for September 3, while tenders must be submitted to the Ministry of Finance’s Procurement Unit by 10 a.m. on September 29.
