The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) wishes to advise the public that the temporary closure of the East End Police Station has been extended until further notice as renovation works continue.
To ensure that policing services remain easily accessible to residents, the RVIPF has partnered with Honourable Marlon Penn, Eighth District Representative, Honourable Vincent Wheatley, through the Ministry of Health and Social Development, and the Social Development Department to implement a temporary solution for the community.
Effective Monday 13th July, officers assigned to the East End Policing District will be temporarily based at the East End/Long Look Community Centre, where members of the public can visit to report incidents, seek assistance, or speak with officers.
In addition to maintaining a presence at the Community Centre, officers will continue to conduct regular patrols throughout the East End community to ensure the continued safety and security of residents and visitors.
Members of the public requiring immediate police assistance may also continue to contact officers directly at 368-9415 or through the Non-Emergency number 311.
The RVIPF expresses its sincere appreciation to Honourable Marlon Penn, Honourable Vincent Wheatley, the Ministry of Health and Social Development, and the Department of Social Development for their support and collaboration in ensuring policing services remain accessible during this period.
The Force apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks the public for their continued patience, understanding, and cooperation while work on the East End Police Station is completed.
