Night Club, Restaurant Closed, Fined For Violating COVID-19 Protocols

(PLTM) - Reliable information reaching BVI Platinum News indicates that one Night Club on Main Street and a well-known restaurant in Nanny Cay were each fined $1,000 each and subsequently closed for violating the Government imposed COVID-19 protocols.

Mambo Night Club and Bar was closed last night, January 14, for not enforcing proper mask-wearing and social distancing protocols. Peg Legs Restaurant was also fined and closed for violating the mask-wearing protocols.

The fines and closures were carried out by the Social Distancing Taskforce.

The BVI now has 1,220 active COVID-19 cases.
