(PLTM) - Days after shooting victim Jaimez Stoutt was laid to rest, the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) announced that it is seeking 21-year-old Erick Rabsatt, suspected of being the triggerman on that ill-fated night – December 11, 2021 inside Crystal’s Nightclub, when Stoutt was fatally shot.
In a press release issued moments ago, January 10, the RVIPF stated that they have issued an arrest warrant for the Pasea Estate resident.
“The arrest warrant has been circulated within the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force and throughout the three islands of the U.S. Virgin Islands.”
It continued: “Officers of the Major Incident Team are asking family members and associates here and abroad to encourage Rabsatt to turn himself in for his safety so he can be questioned in the matter. Since he is wanted in connection with the murder, his security and those of others around him are at high risk.”
Persons found sheltering, hiding or harbouring this suspect can also be charged and upon conviction face hefty penalties,” the press release informed.
In providing more information about the suspected shooter, Police said Rabsatt is slim built, approximately 5’10” tall, weighing between 160 and 170 pounds and resided in the Pasea Estate area.
“Persons who have seen him or have information about his whereabouts can contact the Major Incident Team at 368-5682 or the RVIPF Intelligence Unit at 368-9339,” the RVIPF added.
