(PLTM) - Pastor at the Agape Total Life Centre Church Lucia Woods told a full house of inmates at Her Majesty’s Prison in Balsam Ghut last night, August 11, that their children are being abused because they are absent from home and present behind bars.
Pastor Woods gave that remark while calling for the inmates to turn to Jesus Christ instead of following bad company.
She said: “Come on, young men, start being young men! You know what husband mean? The band you cause around the house! And there is no band around the house, so all kinds of people raping your daughters, it used to be daughters, now they raping sons too. Why? Because the enemy has you out there on a limb, thinking that you are a macho if you can do this and get away with it. You need to have a mindset change tonight; whatever is done in secret will come out in the light.”
She reminded the inmates that friends would not always have their back.
“Y’all say some of your friends they don’t snitch; they don’t rat when you with certain people doing wrong. You think they have your back; that’s what they tell you. Monies come up and it speaks more! Man they throw your head, your foot, they throw every part of you in. I’m saying young men …you can make a difference! No matter what you have done, you can be forgiven, and forgiveness is the first key that can get you from darkness into light,” she implored.
Gifted Inmates
Pastor Woods reminded the prisoners that many of them are gifted and very talented.
She continued: “But, instead of using your talent for God, you use it for the power of darkness. Many of you have heard only the negative, many of you have heard that you will not amount to anything good, cursing you by saying all kinds of negative things. You don’t have to follow the negative, come up higher than you are because God has said you are a chosen generation. You can prove that you are not what society says.”
The service started on August 9 and will culminate on August 14, 2020.
