(PLTM) - C&W Communications is pleased to announce the appointment of Ravindra Maywahlall as the new Country Manager for its Flow British Virgin Islands operations.

Ravindra, or “Ravi” as he is known to most, started working with Flow BVI in the summer of 1997 as an intern. He subsequently returned to work with the company every summer until his graduation from University of Western Ontario, where he attained his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. He has been employed by Flow for the last 15 years.

During his tenure Ravindra has overseen operations and strategic planning in customer experience, retail and networks. Prior to this, he was Head of Commercial, where he directed the activity of the company’s marketing and consumer teams. Most recently, he acted in the role of Country Manager with oversight of the business operations.

Ravindra is a registered Chartered Manager with the Chartered Management Institute of the UK, and firmly believes that working together as a single cohesive unit is key to success.

VP, Central Caribbean, Magnus Ternsjo commented that he looks forward to continuing to work with Ravindra, who has been acting in the position of Country Manager for the last few months - “I am really impressed with Ravi’s performance and leadership skills and pleased that he has been confirmed in the role. I have every confidence that he will do an excellent job in leading the BVI team and delivering an even better experience for our residential and business customers in the Territory.”
