(PLTM) - A Baugher’s Bay man was on Wednesday, March 20, taken to court charged with threatening language for allegedly telling his mother’s tenant he would pump some shots into her.

The court heard that on August 11, last year, Olney Berridge told his mother’s tenant, “You looking for me to pump some shots in you’re a**.”

The court heard that the complainant and her daughter rent an apartment from Berridge’s mother.

On the day in question, the complainant returned home and found the apartment in an unkempt state. There were broken blocks, mixed cement and sand in front of her door.

She spoke to her landlady, who indicated that she would call her son. Ten minutes later, the woman reportedly returned with her visibly upset son.

Berridge allegedly told the woman, “You see one fall in Purcell last night. Allyuh looking for me to pump some shots in you. You want me get into trouble for you. I will get into trouble for you.”

He also allegedly told the woman that she couldn’t do anything about the materials in front of the door, and he would not remove them either.

The court heard he also called the woman a string of derogatory names.

“If I cannot get you in Baugher’s Bay, I will come down to Molly’s house in Duff’s Bottom and pump some shots in you’re a**,” he allegedly told the woman.

He will be returning to court on May 14.
