(PLTM) - Almost three years after his disappearance and murder, two more suspects have been arrested and charged in connection to the abduction and murder of Devern Stanley, also known as “Snoopy”.

In a press statement, today, March 7, the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force disclosed that officers of the Major Crime Team today arrested and charged Kareem Durrant, 30, an inmate at H.M. Prison and Dakheme Cheltenham, 24, of Belle Vue, following a lengthy investigation by the crime team.

They are expected to be brought before the Magistrate’s Court tomorrow.

Stanley's body was discovered in Rouges Bay in June 2016, days after his family reported him missing.

Pathologist’s report concluded that the cause of death was blunt force trauma to the head.

Five months later, Vicardo Farrell, aka Scar, then 27 of Major Bay, was arrested and charged with the murder, but on the day that he was expected in court for the charge, he fell ill.

While he is yet to appear before the court for that murder charge, Farrell is currently serving a seven and a half year sentence for gun and ammunition offenses
