In a further update issued by police today, Sunday, March 4, it was confirmed that officers of the RVIPF Major Crime Team have charged an additional two persons, bringing the total to three charged in the shooting death of Trumayne Daway.
Vernon Bernard, 26, a native of Dominica, was charged with murder and unlawful possession of a firearm, while Rafael Harrigan, 27, a native of the Virgin Islands, was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm.
Maybelline Rodriguez, 21, a native of the Dominican Republic, who resides in Huntums Ghut, was first to be charged in relation to this murder.
All three will appear at the next sitting of the Magistrate’s Court.

The woman arrested in the murder of Trumayne Daway, who was found dead in a vehicle at the Brandywine Bay beach on February 28, has been charged.
Officers of the RVIPF Major Crime Team charged 21 year-old Maybelline Rodriguez, a native of the Dominican Republic, who resides in Huntums Ghut, with murder in the shooting death of Trumayne Daway.
According to a release issued by police today, Sunday, March 4, Detectives also have a male in custody and are looking for a second male in relation to the same murder.
Trumayne Daway, 26, was found unresponsive in the driver’s seat of a vehicle with several bullet holes on the eastern side of Brandywine Bay early Wednesday morning.

A woman has been arrested in the murder of Trumayne Daway, who was found dead in a vehicle at the Brandywine Bay beach on February 28.
"Police have arrested a 21 year-old female on suspicion of murder in the case of Trumayne Daway. Daway was found unresponsive in a vehicle at Brandywine Bay on Tuesday morning," police said on Saturday, March 3.
Daway, 25, known as Passion, received several gunshot wounds about his body.
Police had indicated that officers of the force's Armed Tactical Team seized a gun and a large quantity of ammunition at a road check in Thread Falls, within an hour of the report of gunshots in the Brandywine Bay area on the night of Daway's murder.
Daway's death is the third murder for the year, with the first being a double murder earlier this month. Clevaughn Sweeney and Michael Stevens were killed when gunmen opened fire on their vehicle on Station Avenue, a few yards from the Road Town Police Station.
