Tortola's Really Up Town has etched its name in the history books by becoming the first horse to win all three legs of the VI Triple Crown following an impressive victory on Sunday, March 17 at the Clinton E. Phipps racetrack in St. Thomas, USVI.
The L&B Stables champion horse easily took down the field in this afternoon's feature race, assuring that residents of the Virgin Islands will celebrate a historic feat.
BVI Platinum News has confirmed that a motorcade is being planned for the horse and owner, Violet 'Letty' Hodge. The Ministry of Education and Culture will announce the date and time for the motorcade.
A ceremony is also being planned and will include Government officials.
