Another Early Morning Accident On Tortola

Early morning accidents appear to be trending as yet another driver lost control of his vehicle, which then flipped over in the vicinity of the traffic lights at the junction of Waterfront and Admin Drives.

Reports indicate that no one was seriously injured in the accident which occurred sometime after 3:00 am today, March 16.

The driver reportedly also caused damage to another vehicle which was in a nearby parking lot.

This morning's accident comes exactly one week after a driver ran off the road and pulled down ZBVI's 300-foot transmission tower at Baugher's Bay.

Just about three weeks ago, another driver lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a fence along the James Walter Francis Drive. That accident also occurred on a Saturday morning.

There is just too much CARELESS & RECKLESS driving in this lil island and government(s) seem not to care until people die. After a young life was lost on Beef Island road there was a whole lot of hoopla and the VI Government erected a "boat" to slow traffic. The NDP action minister demolished it... more

The dude was blazing back and forth like he was on the raceway. He was just being stupid. The only thing you saw was him speeding like a fool and grinning his teeth like it was funny. He need to grow up and have his license snatched for a period of time until he learn how to drive.

Most of the people on this Island don't know how to drive. Most of them is driving because they want to show off, they want to show people that they can have a car.

Maybe the gov't should ban cars to keep everyone safe because people are obviously too dumb to drive. Sounds crazy right? Well that's what they did with bikes isn't it? Its really unfair when you think about it

People does drive like an *** in Tortola, by seconds, I does miss being in an accident each day I drive. People cut in front of you with out sufficient space to do so and with out indicator, and people stop with no indication that they are stopping or making a turn, people don't hold them... more

When I drive, I have to look in so many directions. Some of these people have no concept of what they are doing on the road. When I am in front of someone and I am going to make a turn, I always put on my blinker so that the driver behind me know what I am getting ready to do. Some of these... more
