Man Injured During Armed Robbery At Home

A man was treated for injuries sustained in an armed robbery at his home on the morning of Friday, March 15, 2013.

Police have confirmed with BVI Platinum News that the man was at his home at Vanterpool Estate in East End when two male persons entered his home and attacked him.

According to police, one of the men had what is believed to be a gun and the other a crowbar. The intruders reportedly held the man at gunpoint and demanded cash.

The attacker who was armed with the crowbar, hit the man with the crowbar. He sustained injuries to his left hand in the area of his elbow.

Police said the men escaped with $200.00 and two cellular phones.

Police stated that the firearm was not discharged during the robbery.

These two cowards rob and injure a man for...wait for it...a cell phone and $200??? When they get caught, they need to be thrown under the jail.

I am just waiting for someone to come into my home and try to rob me. They might get in but they won't, well you can guess the rest. You have a right to protect your home if someone come in to rob your home. Homeowners, it might be a bit costly but, have some type of hidden security cameras... more

Brings me to a point I made on a diff post. Many crying foul over paying 15c for plastic bag they even going so far as calling police on the cashiers, I have to wonder if these same persons would call the cops so willingly if they know who these 2 punks are that robbed this guy
