Inmates Charged For Wounding

Officers of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force responded to a report of a stabbing at His Majesty’s Prison on Sunday, May 12, after 4 pm. Following the incident, one inmate was transported to Dr. Orlando Smith Hospital for medical treatment, while two inmates were removed from the prison for questioning.
Police later charged Andreas Norford and Essadro Jefferson with Wounding with Intent in relation to the incident. They have been returned to His Majesty’s Prison pending the next available court date.
