14,939 Voters for 2019 General Elections

(PLTM) - According to Supervisor of Elections, Ms. Juliette Penn, there are 14,939 voters registered to vote in the upcoming February 25 General Elections. This represents a significant increase from the 13,589 registered voters at the 2015 elections.

It was previously related that 149 persons were taken off the 2015 list due to death.

The Supervisor of Elections made these disclosures last evening, February 14, during a press conference that addressed details about the elections.

The Elections Official moments later provided a breakdown of the voters and their districts.

For District One, there is a total of 1,517 registered voters, while District Two has 1,571.

Over in Sea Cow’s Bay, District 3, 1,708 persons are registered and in Road Town, District Four, there are 1,389 registered voters.

District Five is divided into two polling divisions and those have a combined total of 1,969.

District Six has, in its two divisions, 1,820 registered.

District Seven accounts for 1,385 voters and Hope Estate and East End have a combined 1,778.

Across the waters, in District Nine, there are three polling divisions with 1,802 voters.
