(PLTM) - The government continues to receive much needed donation to rebuild the school infrastructure, as individuals and businesses step up. Most of the schools were damaged following the passage of Hurricanes Irma and Maria.
Hon. Myron Walwyn, Minister of Education and Culture announced that Mr. Curt Richardson has pledged to rebuild the Jost Van Dyke (JVD) school.
“Yesterday we had meetings with Mr. Curt Richardson, who has agreed in principle to build a new and improved school in Jost Van Dyke,” he said on Wednesday, March 21.
He also disclosed that the Social Security Board (SSB) has agreed to rehabilitate the Enid Scatliffe Pre-Primary School in time for September.
“I would like to thank them so very much for taking their corporate responsibility very seriously,” the Minister said.
He added, “I would like to also thank my two colleagues, Hon. Melvin Mitch Turnbull and Hon. Ronnie W. Skelton for their support and assistance with these projects.”
