(PLTM) - CCT BVI’s community initiative, ‘CCT Cares’ has joined with The Office of Gender Affairs on March 8 at an Information Fair in observation of International Women’s Day at the New Peebles Hospital.
Commenting on CCT’s participation in this year’s Women’s Day event, Public Relations and Marketing Coordinator, Jerilee T. Hopkins explained that CCT chose to highlight the dynamic women of CCT through the publication of a pamphlet designed just for International Women’s Day and quite fitting for this year’s theme, ‘Women’s Importance in the Press for Progress’.
“We acknowledge the strong call to action to Press for Progress motivating and uniting friends, colleagues and whole communities to think, act and be gender inclusive, so the pamphlet features the female staff with words of motivation, inspiration, health tips, empowerment and ways to better one self,” Hopkins added.
Excerpts from CCT’s Women’s Day pamphlet can be viewed on CCT BVI Facebook page along with photos from today’s event.
CCT Cares was officially launched in January 2018 and is intended to reach out to the community and give back during the rebuilding journey and focus on issues that affect the British Virgin Islands.
CCT BVI was voted the Best Cellular Service Provider in the BVI and is the BVI’s Premier 4G LTE Network. To learn more about CCT BVI, visit www.cctbvi.com or CCT BVI Facebook page.
