(PLTM) - Police are investigating yet another shooting incident on Tortola.

According to information reaching BVI Platinum News, gunshots were opened on a house in the Belle Vue area last evening, February 20.

BVI Platinum News has confirmed that no injuries were reported, but the incident has left the community in fear.

Information also suggests that multiple spent shells were recovered from the scene, from more than one type of firearm.

This incident adds to the increased number of gun related incidents in the past two months, which continue to concern the police and members of the public.

Persons with information about the location of any illegal firearms are asked to contact the police or a member of the Major Crime Team at 368-9342 or the RVIPF Intelligence Unit at 368-9339.
