(PLTM) - An 11 year-old girl and a man succumbed to gunshots wounds they sustained, following a shooting incident in West End last night, November 22.

The child's mother, who was shot multiple times, remains in serious condition at the hospital.

Reports are that she will have to undergo surgery.

BVI Platinum News understands that the 36 year-old woman is a native of Guyana.

Reports are that the three victims were seated in a vehicle when the gunman pulled up on a scooter and fired several shots at the them.

No motive has been established for the shooting. The police are still investigating the matter.

According to initial information, two persons are reporterly dead, following a shooting incident on the western end of Tortola tonight, November 22.

BVI Platinum News has confirmed that a number of persons were involved in the incident.

Reports are that a minor was also involved in the shooting incident.

Police are investigating the matter.
