(PLTM) - Owners of vehicles which were damaged during the passage of hurricane Irma, must have them removed by month end, or they will be collected and destroyed by government. The vehicles targeted are those on the roadsides and in public parking lots. The Department of Waste Management in a notice on Monday, October 16, said that persons with those damaged vehicles are asked to remove them by October 31. "Thereafter, the department will be collecting and disposing of all derelict vehicles as clean up efforts continue," the department said. A number of persons have been driving their damaged vehicles; however, some have been left on the roadside.
