No Immediate Threat To BVI

(PLTM) - Antigua and Barbuda Meteorological Services is following the progress of Tropical Disturbance 92l located 300 miles northeast of the Leeward Islands.

According to the Department of Disaster Management (DDM), it is moving to the west northwest near 20 mph with low chances for development into a tropical cyclone.

This system poses no immediate threat to the Leeward Islands and British Virgin Islands. However, cloudiness with showers associated with this system could spread across the Leeward Islands and BVI later today through to Sunday.

DDM stated that, residents should continue to monitor the progress of this system.
