(PLTM) - Bail has been revoked for Roberto ‘Tico’ Harrigan and Tarik Aaron, after both breached the conditions of their bail.
Police have confirmed that the two men have been remanded to Her Majesty’s prison as a result.
Although the details of their breach are still unclear, BVI Platinum News understands Harrigan was arrested on August 10, while Aaron was arrested on August 11, in separate incidents.
Harrigan was offered bail after being arrested earlier this year, for a matter where the United States Government issued an extradition request for him. It is alleged that he is tied to a drug ring.
Harrigan was offered bail in the sum of $600,000, with a $200,000 cash component and two sureties.
He was also placed on a curfew of 6:00 pm to 6:00 am, in addition to signing in at Road Town Police Station everyday.
Aaron was on bail in relation to a matter where he was found with $24M worth of cocaine at sea.
He too was placed on a curfew and was ordered to sign in at Road Town Police Station.
