(PLTM) - The community is being urged to utilize a hotline, provided by the Ministry of Communications and Works, to report damages around the Territory.

Persons are encouraged to call 468-6006 to make a report.

In a release, the Ministry stated that the hotline is made available for persons to report fallen rocks, road blocks, damaged guard rails, pot holes, collapsed walls, damaged roads and other damages.

The hotline will "assist the Public Works Department in relieving areas that were affected by the tropical wave on August 7-8".

Accordingly, the Ministry noted that if the phone line is busy, persons are also encouraged to leave a message and teams will be mobilized to address the affected areas.

The community is advised to stay current with weather updates through the Department of Disaster Management, for their own safety.
