Following several rounds of games, Baijnauth secured top place in the 14 and under category, while McMillian shined in the 12 and under category.

The two went up against other youth tennis players in the Territory, in the tournament played over the weekend, July 8. The event was hosted by the BVI Tennis Association.

Following this win, Baijnauth and two other players—Courtney Palmer and Kaliek Ross, are gearing up to travel to the Trinidad and Tobago, to compete in a tournament hosted by the International Tennis Federation and the Central American & Caribbean Tennis Confederation.

This would be the first time the Territory will be represented at the event.
