(PLTM) - Persons of the community, with information about a shooting incident at Fort Hill, yesterday, June 22, are being encouraged to assist the local force with their investigation into the matter.

According to Ms. Diane Drayton, Public Relations Officer of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force, police is seeking witnesses in the matter.

Officers visited the scene in Fort Hill, Tortola, where a shootout allegedly occurred.

Police confirmed the incident, noting that no injuries were reported.

The matter is currently under investigation.
