(PLTM) - Darel Christopher Jr., the Territory’s first International Professional Cyclist, is gearing up to compete in the 2017 Tour of America’s Dairy Land cycling competition, which will see eleven days of competitive cycling.
The competition, which is being hosted in Wisconsin, United States, is set to begin on June 15 and will end on June 25.
Christopher will go up against close to 500 other pro and amateur racers, on the starting line in 11 different Wisconsin communities, on each day of the competition.
The racers will compete for over $150,000 in cash and merchandise prizes.
As for previous races, Christopher recently secured third place in Atlanta, at a track-cycling event. He also copped seventh place in a 93 miles road race in Mississippi, where he went up against 82 other cyclists.
