(PLTM) - The driver in the December 2015 fatal tour bus collision, in Cane Garden Bay, will go before a nine member jury on Monday, June 5 in the High Court.

Roger Williams, 51, of Huntums Ghut, is facing two counts of manslaughter, and will be represented by Attorney-at-Law Richard Rowe.

Two American female visitors, who were aboard the tour bus, died as a result of injuries sustained in the December 6 collision, while four others were detained for treatment at Peebles Hospital.

In the lone vehicle collision, the tour bus, with 20 cruise passengers, was descending the Cane Garden Bay hill when it collided with the hillside embankment.

All passengers of the tour bus were visitors aboard the cruise ship Celebrity Summit.
