(PLTM) - The body of the man found last evening, May 17, on Cooper Island, has been identified as James Leonard, a BVIslander.
Leonard was transported to the Peebles Hospital after he was found, and was formally pronounced dead shortly after.
BVI Platinum News is unaware at this time of the circumstances surrounding his death.

Information reaching BVI Platinum News indicates that the body of a young male was found on Cooper Island, sometime this evening, May 17.
BVI Platinum News understands that the male, identified to be a BVIslander, was transported to the Peebles Hospital after being found.
He was formally pronounced dead at the hospital.
