(PLTM) - Three young athletes are set to represent the British Virgin Islands in the upcoming Caribbean Jr. Invitational Tennis Tournament, in Antigua, from April 28 until May 2.
Courtney Palmer, Deandre Baijnauth and Zoe Richards, all athletes of the BVI Tennis Association, will compete in the competition which will see participation from children 12 and under, from around the Caribbean.
This is the 5th year for the competition, which promises to offer the players the caliber of competition needed in their junior career.
Carol Mitchell, President of the local association said the tournament will assist in developing the skills of the local athletes.
The association extended gratitude to the BVI Olympic Committee, for affording the athletes with such an opportunity.
