Pirates Continue Winning Streak

(PLTM) - This seems to be a great season for team Pirates, who continue to record wins and multiple points on the scoreboard, in this year’s 2017 Harriette Skelton Fast Pitch Softball League, powered by the Virgin Islands Softball Association.

Following the most recent games, Pirates trampled two teams, Power Outage and Mobsters.

In the game against Mobsters, Pirates secured their win with a score of 17-11.

The game saw Pirates recording 15 hits, 3 errors and left 4 runners on base, while the beaten Mobsters had 10 hits, 4 errors and left 8 runners on base. The winning pitcher was Jaimi Potter and the loser was Jason Fonseca.

Contributing to the win, Pirates saw homeruns coming from George Burrows, Levron Sarauw Jr., Rhodni Skelton and Joan Soara. The players also contributed runs to the scoreboard.

Against Power Outage, Pirates won with a score of 13-4.

In a perfect game, Pirates totaled 15 hits, 1 error and left 8 runners on base, while Power Outage had 4 runs, 9 hits, 3 errors and left 8 runners on base. The winning pitcher was Allen Smith and the loser was Dariel Robinson.

Devon Bedford of Pirates went from base 2 to 3 with 2 doubles, and 3 runs batted in, and Jaimi Potter also made it from base 2 to 3 with 2 runs scored and 2 runs batted in.

Levron Sarauw Jr. played an exceptional game with stunning catches in the outfield. He made 2 doubles, a triple and scored 2 runs and 3 runs batted in.

Jamal Allen of Power Outage made a homerun, and made it from base 2 to 3 with 1 run scored and 2 runs batted in. His teammate Khoy Frett also made a homerun as well as going from base 2 to 3 with a double, a run scored and a run batted in.
