Illegal Immigrants Detained In VG

(PLTM) - A number of illegal immigrants found in Virgin Gorda are currently in police custody, after being detained by local police, with assistance from Customs and Immigration Officers yesterday, April 10.
The group was found at Biras Creek.
Among the group of over 12 persons, mostly Haitians, are a number of children.
The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force is currently conducting a search for other persons that may have been separated from the group.
Investigations are ongoing.
